Lovers in Paradise

Went to Paradise as my summer kick off and to celebrate my 3 terrific years with Jal.
It was actually a late celebration but it's better late than never!

We sat along the shore talking, having a long yet unusual conversation. Phones were on airplane mode and we only had music on the background. It was simple yet so invigorating.

I asked him unusual questions that started mostly with "what if's" and him asking me the same things. It was such an honest intercourse.

We had a drink to kill those hyper hormones that is trying to make us stay awake that night, and it was perfect at that moment to have a bottle of something that induces sleep eventually. A meaningful confabulation and a drink - the most common but the perfect combination. Everything was topped off with an unexpected fireworks display, a long one.. It was just so right for the celebration and summer kick off.

So magical.

Slept around nine with Jal by my side. It wasn't the most comfortable place but it was the right place to be - beside him. The last man I saw when I closed my eyes and the first one I saw when I woke up.

Five in the morning, kids are already playing and people are starting to get some breakfast. I am such a morning person but Jal isn't, but he still woke up early just to get me breakfast - simple but one of the sweetest gesture. It's women who usually serve men but, in our case, it's the other way around.

I had a hearty meal and my cooking skills were put to shame. Paradise did well in making simple things greater. Imagine, we had Tocino and Egg but nevertheless it's better than mine. I usually burn Tocino's when cooking and I can never make Eggs so fluffy and fine. Good thing I have Jal to cover that up for me.

Took a dip for an hour and went home when the sun was up.
It was one of those plain yet amazing trip despite of how effortless it was planned...
Simple things are just so amazing.
